Job Title: Structural Drafter

Job Description

Candidate will be drafting for precast concrete projects. Candidates will work on primarily commercial projects including educational buildings, parking garages, stadiums, etc. The candidate will be responsible for creating shop drawings for each column, beam, wall panel, and other structural components. They will collaborate closely with engineers, drafters, designers, and clients.

Responsibilities

* Drafting for precast concrete projects.
* Working on commercial projects such as educational buildings, parking garages, and stadiums.
* Creating detailed shop drawings for structural components including columns, beams, and wall panels.
* Collaborating with engineers, drafters, designers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.

Essential Skills

* Proficiency in drafting software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
* Experience with precast concrete and structural detailing.
* Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating shop drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

* Associate's degree in architectural drafting, mechanical drafting, or a related field.
* Experience in creating construction documents (CDs) and detailing.

Work Environment

The candidate will work in a professional office setting, collaborating with a team of engineers, drafters, designers, and clients. Standard office hours apply, and the dress code is business casual.
