SysDev Engineer

Onsite requirements: 3 days per week



Details/Scope of the project:

Participate in the design, development, implementation, testing and documentation of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services.
Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.
Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. • Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.
Mentor junior engineers.

Details/Scope of the project:

The client is seeking a Data Engineer with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills to join our team.
This role will be a key member of the Kuiper Enterprise Engineering team.
Working closely with business stakeholders, software development engineers, and business intelligence engineers, you will design, evangelize, and implement state-of-the-art solutions that help us provide a great customer experience.
You will work with a complicated data environment, employ the right architecture to handle data, and support various analytics use cases including business reporting, production data pipeline, optimization models, statistical models, and simulations.
The ideal candidate has outstanding analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, a good business understanding, and is technically savvy.
They are an analytical problem solver who enjoys diving into data, is excited about solving ambiguity problems, can multi-task, and can interface between technical teams and business stakeholders.



Team Technical Stack:

Infrastructure as code (preferably AWS CDK/CloudFormation)
Developing and maintaining data lake and data warehouse environments
AWS IAM based access controls
Deploying and managing server and server-less analytics stacks
Deploying and maintaining a self-hosted Airflow environment
Data pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance
Apache Spark



Must have Skills for this role:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
