Senior Engineer – Mobile Device Management (iOS/Android) GEICO is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead mobile device management strategy and operations for iOS and Android platforms at enterprise scale. Base Pay Range $105,000 – $215,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications). Position Summary Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of our mobile device environment, ensuring security policies are enforced, user experience optimized, and digital workplace transformation supported. Technologies include Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, Apple Business Manager, Google ZeroTouch, Samsung Knox, etc. Key Responsibilities Architect and maintain mobile device management infrastructure for iOS and Android. Lead large‑scale deployments using ABM, Google Zero‑Touch, and Knox Mobile Enrollment. Develop and enforce enterprise mobility policies, encryption, compliance, and conditional access. Manage app distribution through MDM and enterprise app stores. Collaborate with Security & other teams to integrate MDM with IAM. Provide Tier‑3 escalation support for complex device and MDM issues. Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for device management and reporting. Perform audits, compliance reporting, and risk assessments. Evaluate & recommend emerging mobile technologies, tools, and best practices. Lead MDM related projects, including upgrades and migrations. Required Qualifications 5+ years mobile device management experience, 2+ years in senior/lead role. Expert in Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch), or MobileIron. Strong knowledge of ABM, Apple MDM protocols, Android Enterprise, Knox enrollment. Proficiency managing iOS/Android compliance policies, device restrictions, and app configurations. Experience with Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, certificate‑based auth. Ability to develop PowerShell or scripting solutions for automation. Deep knowledge of mobile security best practices: encryption, remote wipe, DLP. Strong independent problem‑solving and delivering high‑quality solutions. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate. VMware Certified Professional – Digital Workspace or AirWatch Administrator. JAMF Certified Tech/Admin. Experience integrating MDM with third‑party platforms. Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and modern device management strategies. Experience supporting BYOD & COPE models. Annual Salary $105,000 – $215,000 (range is a guideline; final offer considers experience, education, market, and location).
