CardVault by Tom Brady is seeking a passionate and dynamic Store Manager to open our newest location at American Dream

As a Store Manager, a typical day might include the following:
  • Directing all store operations
  • Researching, identifying and authenticating collectible trading cards by assessing the condition and quality of the item using established standards
  • Coaching and motivating your team to drive sales that deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service
  • Delivering sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations
  • Acting as a partner between customers, sales associates and CardVault leadership
  • Learning and sharing expertise of products and trends to fit customer's needs
  • Maintaining an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product / trends
  • Maintaining patron satisfaction and builds relationships with preferred patrons
  • Accomplishing human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orientating, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management and hourly staff; Cleary communicates job expectations; enforces policies and procedures
  • Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complies with legal regulations
  • Delegating authority, assigning responsibilities and effectively managing subordinates
  • Establishing standards for personnel administration and performance
  • Answering patrons' complaints and resolving problems
  • Maintaining all necessary license and permits
  • General cash handling, reconciling cash drawers and safes, and performing opening and closing duties to company standard
  • Ensuring the security of all merchandise
  • Minimizing shrinkage, identifying and reducing loss
  • Coordinating with the CardVault Director of Inventory and Logistics regarding inventory management
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
  • A comprehensive knowledge of sports and/or trading cards
  • Minimum of two years store manager experience in a similar environment is required
  • High school Diploma/GED desired. College degree preferred
  • Ability to lead and be a part of a successful store team
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
  • Must have the ability to meet or exceed sales, guest service standards
  • Must be comfortable working and speaking with the public
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and retail business systems
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and ability lift/carry up to 30 lbs
  • Clear understanding of retail metrics including key performance indicators necessary to drive sales
