Fire Extinguisher Technician:


Kartman Fire Protection Services Inc. are looking for a Fire Extinguisher Technician to join their team in Havertown, Pennsylvania.


Job Duties:
Inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishers.
This technician will follow all local, state, and national regulations and codes pertaining to fire protection and life safety.
Maintain a complete and current working understanding of all relevant facilities infrastructure, equipment and systems.
Inspection of fire extinguishers
Work with operational and maintenance personnel to coordinate life safety system impairments as required for repairs, maintenance and new installations.


Skills and Requirements:
Preferred: Advanced Technical School Training.
Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Certification: NFPA 10, NAFED.
Required: Mechanical aptitude.
Preferred: 1-year related experience, experience filling fire extinguishers.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
]Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.


Compensations & Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience. ($17.00 - $20.00 per hour)
