CNC Programmer

Job Overview:
In this key role, you will develop Mastercam programs to control machining or processing of plastic parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.

We are a leading distributor and manufacturer of plastic sheet and components, serving North American customers.

Prepare CNC programs as per drawings/instructions using Mastercam, Solidworks and Autocad. Able to generate CNC programs to support new products/tooling projects.
Develop fixtures and tooling for hand and machine operations.
Write detailed shop instructions, including drafting drawings and layouts as needed for production and assembly.
Perform first time set-up on parts and troubleshoot as needed.
Assist estimator on quotations for complex parts or one-of-a-kind orders.
Confer with manufacturing, engineering, programmers, estimators and other personnel to resolve machining and programming issues.
Set-up and operate CNC machines with no supervision and be able to help train or instruct others on set-ups.
Identify, resolve and/or communicate job or machine problems. Maintain safe and clean work area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
