RESEARCH TECHNICIAN 2, School of Medicine, Anatomy & Neurobiology Boston University Medical Campus – Join a well‑funded, collaborative research laboratory in the Department of Anatomy & Neurobiology. The position supports a principal investigator (PI), undergraduate and graduate students, and a range of joint projects within the School of Medicine. Responsibilities Serve as a full‑time Research Specialist, providing research support for all lab members and conducting independent projects while assisting with the day‑to‑day operations of the lab. Continuously work in a wet laboratory that includes cell culture, cortical organoid production, CRISPR‑Cas9 gene editing, live‑cell imaging, molecular biology, and confocal microscopy to explore the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying brain cell abnormalities in Down syndrome and its comorbidity with Alzheimer’s disease. Report directly to the PI and help allocate time for publication, grant writing, student mentorship, and teaching through robust technical assistance. Qualifications 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Salary & Benefits Salary Grade: $20.13 to $25.40 per year. Position Type: Full‑Time/Regular.
