Job Overview At Relativity, we make software to help users organize data, discover the truth, and act on it. Our e‑discovery SaaS platform is used by more than 13,000 organizations around the world to manage large volumes of data and quickly identify key issues during litigation, internal investigations, and compliance projects. The Product Management team is seeking a Group Product Manager to define and execute the multi‑year strategy for Relativity’s AI Platform, inclusive of ML/LLM Operations and AI Services teams. These teams oversee the AI platform infrastructure and tooling used by AI application and Applied Science teams to design, develop, and operate AI solutions at scale—with a focus on generative AI‑powered innovation. This role manages and mentors Product Managers over multiple teams, leads a sprint team, partners with senior Engineering and Applied Science leadership, and represents Relativity’s AI vision to executives, customers, and the broader industry. In this role, you will: Manage and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering excellence in product thinking, customer empathy, and data‑driven decision‑making. Lead a sprint team overseeing a portion of Relativity’s AI Platform capabilities. Help define and drive the AI Platform multi‑year vision, strategy, and coordinated roadmaps across teams. Evangelize AI platform infrastructure and tooling to drive adoption of generative AI and LLM capabilities (e.g., leveraging GPT‑5) that deliver on product needs and operate at massive scale. Represent Relativity’s AI platform vision with customers, industry forums, and strategic partners, influencing the broader legal tech AI landscape. Own investment planning and portfolio‑level resource allocation to maximize business and customer value. The ideal candidate will have substantial AI experience, especially working in the AI model lifecycle. They will bias towards data and have a strong proficiency in using data to monitor product health, set ambitious goals, and track success. They will passionately advocate for the benefits of our AI platform products and give confidence to the business and our customers that the world’s most powerful AI tooling for Legal Data Intelligence is underpinned by a reliable, efficient, and principled foundation. Job Description and Requirements Role Responsibilities Customer Centric Lead your team in connecting frequently with internal customers in Applied Science and AI application teams to deeply understand their day‑to‑day needs, validating solutions with feedback in product discovery. Ensure we are solving business problems with a balance between immediate customer needs and building long‑term capabilities that meet the needs of multiple teams. Act as company SME over platform capabilities, evangelizing platform successes and advocating for platform needs. Strategically prioritize AI Platform needs from application teams and frequently communicate back group priorities for alignment. Product Leadership Mentor and help grow the careers of PMs on your team, instilling PM best practices and building PM talent pipelines. Set the strategic direction and coordinate roadmaps that are owned by PMs on your team. With your team, own the vision for maturing all the end‑to‑end ML Ops lifecycle to drive experimentation and model delivery at scale. Advocate for Relativity’s AI Principles throughout decision‑making. Oversee relationships with suppliers of 3rd‑party AI models and services, ensuring that we are using fit‑for‑purpose offerings at a global scale. Own metrics around platform adoption, performance, and customer experience. Technical Leadership Partner with Engineering leadership to shape the long‑term technical strategy for AI infrastructure. Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML technologies and assess their fit for Relativity’s platform. Ensure we understand and meet product requirements around scalability, reliability, usability, observability, efficiency, and performance standards. Maintain deep technical acumen in ML Ops, enterprise AI, and generative AI to lead informed discussions. Product Implementation Lead a sprint team to mature one of our flagship platform capabilities. Break down large initiatives into iterative releases with measurable results. Align cross‑functional teams early and check in frequently to drive coordinated delivery. Lead continuous product discovery efforts to better understand the AI platform needs of internal Relativity application teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience successfully managing a team of Product Managers. Professional experience with ML Ops (including working throughout the model lifecycle), AI tooling, generative AI, and LLMs. Very strong proficiency with data, including ability to use data to analyze and monitor product health, set goals, back up assumptions, and track success. History of working with OKRs (or other outcome‑based frameworks) that prioritizes outcomes over feature lists. Minimum Qualifications 6+ years of experience in software product management with 3+ years in AI specifically. Formal / collegiate education is not required to be considered for this role. Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long‑term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $166,000 and $250,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
