Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$45.00/hr - $55.00/hrLocation: Hybrid in Boston 1-2 days on site minimum, remaining days remoteSchedule: 40 hours/week (9AM-5PM EST)Duration: 3 Months, likely not to extend furtherRate Range: $45-$55 per hour based on your experience levelTimeline for Hire: 1-2 interviews, getting started within the next ~3 weeks ideallyPosition OverviewOur client, an international footwear brand, is seeking a Global Retail Architectural Designer to join their team on a parental leave contract (~3 months). The Global Retail Architectural Designer will support in the creation and implementation of retail concepts through strong design, visualization and presentation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Design Team in the creation, adaptation and refinement of retail concepts and environmental components.Design new fixture elements to solve various consumer and market driven needs.Document design direction for communication to partners such as architects and fixture manufacturers.Develop 3D visualization of designs to effectively communicate ideas and design intent.Develop store designs via standard documentation methods such as floor plans, elevations and sections.Research relevant examples of retail, art and design to compile creative vision inspiration.Research specifications such as materials, lighting and furnitureCollaborate closely with Store Planning team to support execution of retail environments.Work cross-functionally with Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Digital internal partners as neededCoordinate with external partners for development and production of fixtures and design elements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.Proven experience in retail design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.Proficiency in design software, particularly Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.Strong understanding of architectural principles and retail space functionality.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.We are looking forward to your applicationSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionDesign and Art/CreativeIndustriesRetail Apparel and FashionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Creative Circle by 2xGet notified about new Architectural Designer jobs in Boston, MA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
