HVAC Controls Technician Typical Duties Troubleshoot and determine the need for repairs or replacement of instrumentation and end devices. Loop check and provide commission start-up assistance to a programmer. Set-up and start Viable Frequency Drives (VFD's). Install and terminate instrumentation per layout drawings and wiring diagrams. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming Tridium HVAC controls systems preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service field preferred. Carrier CCN and i‑Vue experience a plus. Electrical experience including routing of conduit and ability to read electrical schematics a plus. Must be willing to travel to out of town job sites and occasional extended stay periods (usually 1 to 2 weeks).
