Final Assembly Project Coord

Job Summary: The Final Assembly Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating production scheduling and project activities relative to Final Assembly. This experienced individual assists the Operations Manager with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the procedures and protocols regarding proper production coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate material and scheduling activities relative to production demands.
Work in conjunction with the engineering and procurement teams.
Track and report delays to Operations Teams in regard to discrete jobs to be built by production.
Review and report on backlog and all open sales orders daily.
Act as the inventory liaison relative to SCI inventory activity.
Show ability to solve complex problems individually and quickly
Strong written communication skills for the creation of reports
PC proficiency and understanding of information systems, Oracle system a plus.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma, 3-4 years of previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics coordination environment. 3-3 years' experience with SCI or related experience with another company. Desired Qualifications:
Must have background that includes knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
Working knowledge of inventory management
Experience working with Oracle a plus
Knowledge of raw materials and production scheduling
Knowledge of quality control programs, planning and organizing
Attention to detail, decision-making
Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements Medium work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine. Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time. Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling. Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make fine discriminations in sound. Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
