Job Description:

The Senior Infrastructure DevOps/IAC Engineer will be responsible for supporting the current traditional Linux based "on premises” VMware environment; The ideal candidate will have a skillset that spans across traditional on premises VMware based systems as well as experience in transforming these systems to and supporting emerging DevOps solutions in an Agile environment for our customers.Build, configure and administer on-prem and cloud based Atlassian Jira product / systemsUtilize the following stages in a pipeline: Build, Package, Deploy and Functional TestCollaborate with teams to develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions using JiraBuild and maintain automation with the Pipeline structure; Using Rundeck, Chef Environment files, and AnsibleBe a team player incorporating a team-based success philosophyFollow established Software processes and procedures, development, documentation and maintenance/management of operations concepts, requirements (system, element, segment level), external and internal interfaces, and other software engineering work products/artifactsContribute to the completion of program and project milestones under the specific guidance of their immediate supervisorStay updated with the latest advancements in DevOps and satellite technology to drive innovation Skills & Qualifications:Active U.S. government TS/SCI issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceBS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experienceExperience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)Experience with Atlassian Tool SuiteExperience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef and Ansible Preferred Qualifications:Experience with DevOps CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) Pipeline development using CloudBees JenkinsExperience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Git (Bitbucket), Fortify, Gradle, and AnsibleSoftware Factory tools used in the orchestration for building, packaging, deploying, and testing developed products in a Pipeline.
