This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation matters, develop litigation strategies, and play a key role in achieving favorable outcomes for our clients. We are in office 5 days a week, hybrid flexibility will come with tenure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in construction-related litigation, including contract disputes, defect claims, delay claims, and lien enforcement.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to the unique aspects of each case.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage all aspects of pre-trial discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including motion hearings, trials, and appeals.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and expert witnesses to build strong cases.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively to provide updates and legal guidance.
  • Stay current on developments in construction law and litigation practices.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, industry practices, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to case management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with both state and federal court litigation.
  • Familiarity with mediation and arbitration in the construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a client-focused mindset.
