General Summary of position:

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting bank customers in a variety of general banking transactions and customer service tasks in a courteous and friendly manner. Your primary responsibilities will be in the loan department. Knowledge of available bank services and the ability to communicate them to our customers is essential in order to assist them with their banking needs, and to optimize their banking relationship with Rolling Hills Bank & Trust.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Various loan administration responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Assisting Loan Officers by performing functions of loan administration

  • Maintains a variety of information in the loan tickler system
  • Reviews the Paid Off Loan Report
  • Reviews all new insurance policies to insure applicability and logs them in loan files
  • Maintains loan files, assuring documents are in their proper place within the file.
  • Processes the paid loans and completes all the appropriate filings, releases and paperwork associated with such loans
  • Processes loan advances and loan payments
  • Reviews the Overdrawn Checking account list weekly
  • Record written-off checking accounts and process any recoveries received for such accounts.
  • Assists Loan Officers with various administrative tasks as needed
This position could occasionally work as a Teller/Customer Service Representative and the following duties will apply.

Assisting customers with general banking transactions such as, but not limited to:
  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Loan payments
  • Money orders and cashiers checks
  • Process currency and coin orders
  • Cashing checks
  • Assist customers with Wire Transfers
  • Other miscellaneous duties that would fall under the responsibilities of a Bank Teller
Assisting customers with general customer service tasks such as, but not limited to:
  • Opening New Accounts or closing accounts, which may include, Checking and Savings Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Health Savings Accounts and Individual Retirement Accounts
  • Assist customers with On-Line Banking, & Automatic Bill Pay as well as other products and services offered by Rolling Hills Bank & Trust
  • Processing Check Orders for customers
  • Assist customers in obtaining and accessing their Safety Deposit Boxes
  • Balance and Account History inquiries
  • Informing customers of products and services that are offered at Rolling Hills Bank & Trust in an effort to meet all of their banking needs
  • Provide prompt, professional and courteous service to all customers
  • Assisting Customers with Stop Payment requests
  • Other miscellaneous duties that would fall under the responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative
