What’s more, we are in collaboration with leading academics, industry experts and highly skilled engineers to equip our customers to generate sophisticated new insights from the biggest of big data.Principal Data Scientist – Hopkinton, Massachusetts or Round Rock, TexasWhat you’ll achieve: As a Principal Data Scientist, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influencing decision making based on information gained from deep‑dive analysis. You will produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets, design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data, and partner with business leaders, engineers and industry experts to construct predictive models, algorithms and probability engines.ResponsibilitiesSolve business and customer problems utilizing LLM/Agents and traditional AI/MLBuild prototypes and scalable AI/ML solutions that will be integrated into software productsLead more junior data scientists and collaborate with software engineers, business stakeholders and product owners in an Agile environmentHave complete ownership of model outcomes and drive continuous improvementEssential Requirements10+ years of professional experience as a Data ScientistStrong background in math, statistics, and machine learning knowledge (deep learning, NLP, classification, forecasting, regression)Proficient with writing sophisticated, clean, and object‑oriented Python code and experience in ML model deploymentAbility to play the technical lead / architect role for a team of data scientistsAbility to effectively communicate data science progress to non‑technical internal stakeholders and lead a team of data scientistsDesirable RequirementsMaster’s or PhD in a quantitative disciplineProfessional experience with LLM/Agentic technologiesCompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
