Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.We are seeking a Senior Occupancy Planner to successfully manage the supply, capacity and demand of a building, campus or regional space portfolio for a specific client at the business unit level.Role PurposeAs a Senior Occupancy Planner, you’ll be driving the development of occupancy plans and sequencing of group-level and individual moves as well as facilitate and/or resolve planning issues identified in customer planning meetings. You will ensure that planning is aligned with corporate guidelines, and that all scenarios maximize use of space. You will recommend, educate, and enforce space policies/standards, procedures and protocols and notify the client of customer requested exceptions; and as necessary, assist in developing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership. You will be a Subject Matter Expert in the client’s workplace program and the use of utilization data to drive solutions that increase the productivity. You will be a leader in the Occupancy Planning and account team, modelling superior client relationship management and strategic thinking.What this job involvesKey responsibilities include:Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate to review and resolve planning forecast requirements, concerns and issues.Work with Business Unit leadership to collect headcount forecasts and resolve headcount forecast discrepancies between leadership’s numbers and those collected at the group level.Gather top-down headcount and growth projections from Corporate Finance group.Review planning strategies with Project Management to drive construction projects and support implementation of these projects.Coordinate moves with Move Coordination and Facility Management teams to review and approve moves, develop migration plans and conduct facility audits.Ensure cross‑campus/portfolio strategy plans are developed with the occupancy planning team.Every day is different, and in all these activities, we encourage you to show your ingenuity.QualificationsTo apply you need to be/have:Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Design, Construction Management or related field.5–7 years of experience in a corporate environment.Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level, and experience with interior office renovations.Experience with CAFM system is highly desirable.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, cell calculations).AutoCAD basic test‑fits and square‑foot calculations.Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with executive‑level clients.Estimated compensation for this position108,000.00 – 157,000.00 USD per year.LocationOn‑site – San Jose, CA.Personalized benefits that support personal well‑being and growth401(k) plan with matching company contributionsComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision CarePaid parental leave at 100% of salaryPaid Time Off and Company HolidaysEarly access to earned wages through Daily PayJones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
