Chief Operations Officer (COO) / EOS Integrator Reports To: Visionary (CEO) Location: Odessa, TX | Marshall, TX | Shreveport, LA | Brighton, CO Purpose The Chief Operations Officer (COO) / Integrator is responsible for translating the Visionary’s strategic direction into executable plans that drive alignment, accountability, and profitability across all IFE NDT districts. This individual ensures that every aspect of the business—operations, finance, people, and culture—runs with discipline and clarity under the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework. This role requires a hands‑on, decisive leader with deep operational expertise in oilfield service environments, exceptional business acumen, and a passion for building high‑performing teams. The ideal candidate thrives on structure, metrics, and execution—balancing strategic leadership with the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and make things happen. Core Responsibilities EOS Leadership & Integration Serve as the Integrator in the EOS Leadership Team—ensuring the Visionary’s ideas and goals are executed effectively across the organization. Own the company’s operating rhythm: quarterly Rocks, Level 10 meetings, scorecards, and accountability chart performance. Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for results and alignment with company vision and values. Ensure company‑wide communication, alignment, and traction toward measurable outcomes. Operational Excellence Oversee and optimize all district operations (Odessa, Marshall, Shreveport, Brighton) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and profitability. Implement standardized processes for work orders, job costing, billing, safety, and reporting. Drive operational discipline, resource planning, and P&L accountability at every level of the organization. Partner closely with district managers to strengthen performance, streamline operations, and improve customer satisfaction. Financial & Strategic Execution Lead forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning to meet growth and profitability goals. Collaborate with finance to interpret P&L and balance sheets, identifying trends and implementing proactive corrective actions. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial health, productivity, safety, and customer retention. Evaluate growth opportunities and expansion strategies alongside the Visionary and leadership team. People & Culture Champion a culture of ownership, accountability, and empowerment. Coach and develop leaders to ensure the right people are in the right seats. Partner with HR and QHSE to ensure strong recruiting, retention, training, and compliance systems. Reinforce company values and DRIVE principles across all levels. Qualifications Required 10+ years in Oil & Gas Services (NDT or related industry strongly preferred). 5+ years in a senior multi‑district or executive operational leadership role with P&L ownership. Proven experience implementing or operating within EOS / Traction framework. Strong financial and strategic acumen with a history of driving growth and profitability. Track record of developing leaders and fostering accountability‑based culture. Exceptional communication, organizational, and conflict‑resolution skills. Willingness to travel frequently to district locations. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field. Experience with NDT inspection technologies (MT, PT, UT, EC, VT). Familiarity with API, ASNT, OSHA, ANSI, and ASTM standards. Experience in iM3, TessaLink, or similar operational management systems. Demonstrated ability to scale a service organization with 20%+ profitability through structure and efficiency.
