Responsibilities:Maintenance Assistance: Assist the maintenance team with repairs and preventive maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
Work Order Completion: Assist in completing work orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring resident satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
Unit Preparation: Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
Safety Inspections: Participate in regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and code violations.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
Emergency Response: Be available to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular working hours as needed.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and fair housing laws in all maintenance activities.
Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and address resident concerns.
Training and Development: Participate in training programs and opportunities for skill development to enhance technical proficiency and job performance.

Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or related field preferred.
Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and completing tasks efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety in all maintenance activities.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some positions.
Must have own basic hand tools to perform daily duties.
