We are looking for a Trust & Safety Manager (department head) to vet and verify prospective customers for our Hiya Connect product. In this role, you will not only validate the integrity of new customers but you will also work closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to manage our current customers to ensure they are operating ethically and without fraud when representing themselves across the Hiya Network. Thus, the role involves planning and managing the execution of enterprise verification as well as developing content moderation processes. Further, as the department head you will be responsible for representing the Trust & Safety program to external and internal parties, and managing a team of Trust & Safety analysts.

**As the department head for the Trust & Safety program at Hiya, you will:**

* Create strategy for + execute the validation of the identity and legitimacy of prospective Hiya Connect customers

* Create strategy for + execute the content moderation of what a Hiya Connect customer wants to display for themselves (e.g. caller name, logo, call reason)

* Ensure customers are not violating copyright or trademark laws

* Partner with various internal partners to ensure current customers are acting legitimately and aligning with Hiyas business standards

* Represent the Trust & Safety department to internal and external parties

* Work to automate the verification and content moderation processes in order to streamline and speed up the customer verification process

* Manage a team of Trust & Safety analysts

**You don't have to check all the boxes, but we believe these are important requirements for the role:**

* 3 + years of experience in a similar role

* Willingness/hunger to dig deep to find answers and information that will protect Hiyas customers as well as Hiyas brand reputation

* Experience hiring and managing a team

* Background in fraud prevention and detection

* Experience/knowledge about trademark and copyright regulations

* Ability to design and build business processes and tools to more effectively manage the verification process

* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Sales, Product and Legal
