Summary/objective

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Assess and analyze current production processes
  • Develop, draft and present improved production processes
  • Design and implement cost effective changes
  • Help to maximize productivity of machinery and associates
  • Follow product specifications and quality control
  • Determine application and location of equipment and tools in production
  • Training associates and maintaining records
  • Innovative ways to increase production and efficiency of processes without compromising quality
  • Develop and implement quality control measures that effectively monitor products and desired results
  • Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot
  • Work within set budgets
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain necessary materials and/or equipment
  • Project Management
  • Develop capital project justifications
  • Manage continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all State, Federal, and company safety rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • CAD software or similar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • 2+ years' experience in Production/Industrial Engineer; managerial experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of mathematics, physics, and mechanics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Maintain positive vendor and client relationships
  • Lean Manufacturing

  • Prepress/Art/Illustrator/Publisher
  • Digital Press Operator/Technician
  • Production Supervision or Management experience
  • 5S, Lean, Six Sigma
  • Color Management techniques and knowledge
