System One is seeking a Land Planner for our client in Coraopolis, PA.
Responsibilities: Conduct site evaluations and develop initial design concepts.
Ensure development plans comply with subdivision and land development regulations.
Ensure development plans adhere to zoning ordinances.
Draft ordinances governing subdivisions and land development projects.
Contribute to the development and preparation of comprehensive plans.
Possess experience as a Zoning Officer or providing support to a Zoning Officer.
Interpret topographical and wetland surveys.
Collaborate and coordinate with government officials.
Prepare preliminary development plans.
Manage the plan approval process with Planning Commissions, City Council, utility companies, and other relevant authorities.
Participate in public meetings related to projects.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, or similar field
AICP Certification (American Institute of Certified Planners)
5+ yrs experience in Land Development Entitlement and/or Land use entitlement process.
