As part of EFOR's development in North America, we seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Construction and Equipment Management


ON SITE (Boston Area)


CONTRACT role (W2 with EFOR Group with full benefits)

End client: top 10 global pharma/biotech group


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Construction Impairment Management:

  • Take full ownership of construction impairment requests, assess their impacts, and review execution plans to minimize operational disruptions.


Site Impact & Impairment Coordination:

  • Collaborate with area owners to plan and schedule invasive construction and impairment activities that may interfere with daily operations.
  • Develop detailed execution plans, specifying business impacts, timelines, and securing necessary approvals.
  • Communicate and manage any modifications to execution plans.


Field Supervision & Coordination:

  • Oversee and coordinate impairment activities in the field, ensuring they are executed as planned with minimal disturbance.


Project Communication:

  • Create and distribute site-wide communications to keep staff informed about ongoing project impacts.
  • Attend Project Coordination Activity meetings to stay aligned with project goals and timelines.


Asset Management & Induction:

  • Manage asset requests and coordinate the induction of new assets into the project.


Equipment Management:

  • Oversee the procurement, storage, and logistics of equipment, including receipt and shipping coordination.
  • Coordinate with Sterling for the receipt and transfer of equipment to the project site.
  • Ensure proper installation of equipment, including utility and data connections.


Certification Coordination:

  • Organize and manage HEPA and room certifications to meet project compliance standards.


Project Calibration:

  • Schedule and coordinate calibration requests to ensure equipment is ready for use.


Equipment Readiness Tracking:

  • Maintain and update the Equipment Readiness Tracker to monitor the progress of pre-CQV activities.


Punch List Management:

  • Oversee the resolution of equipment-related punch list items, ensuring prompt issue resolution.


Vendor Management:

  • Manage vendor equipment startups and address any warranty, delivery, or installation-related issues.


Cable Management:

  • Coordinate room setup, including cable management, ensuring all equipment is properly connected and operational.


Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Facilitate walkthroughs across different functional areas, managing punch list resolution to ensure seamless project execution.


ABOUT YOU


  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience in project management, particularly in construction and equipment management.
  • Proven experience in handling asset requests and overseeing equipment procurement processes.
  • Ability to supervise on-site activities and ensure compliance with execution plans.
  • Proficient in managing equipment readiness and maintaining calibration schedules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve punch list items and vendor-related issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise project updates.
