As a Technical Leader, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and lead a team of talented developers. You will play a key role in designing and implementing robust software solutions that will have a direct impact on the patient and care-giver experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers in designing, coding, and testing IoT Software applications using core Java, AWS-IoT tools, PostGreSQL, and Front End Tools (JavaScript/typescript and React).
  • Experience working in a similar, hands-on technical leadership role for a HealthCare company or org. with HIPAA regulatory standards built into the softwae.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high-quality code standards.
  • Experience working in a similar role where you have also done and overseen DevOps for cloud and mobile applications (experience with Terraform is preferred).
  • Experience working in a similar role where you have taken ownership as the technical leader for the creation, standup and ongoing maintenance of a high volume/high availability cloud based multi platform site.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for improvements to the technical architecture and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with other Technical Leaders and stakeholders to drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Technical Leader, leading software development teams.
  • Proficiency in core Java, IoT software applications, Typescript/React and AWS IoT Tools (greengrass, IoT core, IoT events, Device manager, AWS genAI is a plus); experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practice.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience working in IoT-Smart Device Applications is strongly preferred.
    • Experience with Healthcare or Medical applications is a plus
    • Earlier Career experience with Embedded Software is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, a Master's Degree is preferred.
