6+ Month Contract | Hybrid – Atlanta, GA Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer for a 6+ month contract opportunity based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid). In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining user-facing features across a highly visible, rapidly evolving product suite. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Back-End Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, performant frontend applications that scale effectively. You’ll work hands‑on with the latest technologies in React and Next.js, contributing to architectural decisions, code quality improvements, and UI performance enhancements. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain scalable, responsive web interfaces using React.js and Next.js Translate UX/UI designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable components Implement interactive features with strong attention to performance and accessibility Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver user‑centric enhancements Optimize application performance, SEO, and page load efficiency (SSR/SSG) Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, well‑documented code Contribute to front-end best practices, tooling improvements, and component library growth Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and functional issues Required Qualifications 3–6+ years of professional front-end development experience Deep understanding of modern styling approaches (CSS Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind, etc.) Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows Solid grasp of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management patterns Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows for production deployments Preferred Qualifications Experience with GraphQL (Apollo or Relay) Background with Optimizely or other A/B testing and personalization frameworks Previous experience in eCommerce or conversion-driven interfaces Familiarity with performance profiling, web vitals monitoring, and Lighthouse optimization Exposure to content management systems (Contentful or other Headless CMS) Soft Skills Strong eye for design and attention to UI/UX details Clear communicator with proactive problem-solving skills Thrives in fast-paced, agile environments with shifting priorities Ownership mindset with a passion for delivering polished, high-quality user experiences About GSquared Group Shouldn’t your recruiting partner put as much effort and value into your career as you do?
