STAFF GEOLOGIST / ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST / ENGINEER DENVER, CO cover letter and resume required for application Staff position working as a consultant in the energy industry supporting oil and gas soil and groundwater remediation projects, conducting site evaluations, and preparing technical/compliance reports to regulatory agencies. This position reports to senior staff. assisting project with various assignments on an as needed basis. Time management and communication skills are key. A love for the outdoors and a diversified level of projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Staff Geologist/Engineer or Environmental Scientist responsible to conduct field work including multi-media sampling (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil gas, air samples, etc.) Oversee soil excavation projects Analyze analytical reports Preparation of technical reports and compliance forms to regulatory agencies Mixture of field and office work QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science. Two plus years of consulting/industry experience. Excellent technical writing skills; organizational and communications skills Computer skills including MS Word and Excel, CADD and/or Visio. Field equipment experience utilizing PID, Trimble, gas meters, etc. Schedule, perform and document field activities, oversight of subcontractors. Demonstrate ability to analyze basic field and technical data. Able to communicate solutions in writing, verbally and graphically. Provide constructive feedback to supervisor during and after assignments.
