As a Product Marketing Manager II focused on Rider Multi-Product Use, you’ll develop strategies to deepen relationships with our riders and lead a small team to accelerate adoption across the portfolio. In this role, you’ll play an important role in changing how riders think of Uber. Many riders often stick with one product, but a key part of our growth comes from exposing them to new products and needs we can meet for them. You’ll develop the right strategies, campaigns, and content to educate riders on the breadth of our offering, simplify their decision-making, and get them to adopt products they have yet to try. What You’ll Do Team management: Manage a small team of PMMs who contribute to overall multi-product usage efforts, including in-app marketing content and new rider growth strategies. Product adoption: Develop a roadmap and learning agenda for marketing strategies and tactics to get riders to try different products from our portfolio. Product merchandising: Identify ways to better visualize and articulate the value of our products in marketing placements and the purchase flow to increase product understanding. Driving experimentation: Collaborate cross‑functionally to test hypotheses and marketing tactics across various channels. Leveraging insights: Craft positioning, messaging, and education tailored for different audiences based on insights, motivations, and barriers to adoption. Championing rider needs: Partner with Research, Marketing, and Product teams to synthesize insights and drive multi-product usage campaigns. Scaling content globally: Take learnings from experiments and scale campaigns to markets around the world. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in product marketing or growth marketing 4+ years of experience in consumer product marketing specifically Preferred Qualifications Past experience managing product marketers and helping them achieve effective, fulfilling work. Strategic and executional balance: Think high level strategy but also drive projects in parallel. Data fluency: Gather and analyze data to create insightful narratives and drive growth. Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives across touchpoints and match messages to mediums. Self‑starter: Bias toward action, collaborate across functions, simplify complex problems. Grittiness: Persistently tackle tasks and persevere when challenged. Experimentation: Design and interpret experiments properly. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; comfortable presenting to executive leadership. Insight‑minded: Deep understanding of market, customers, and competition. Product thinking: Translate insights into product and marketing ideas to increase conversion. Copywriting: Create consumer‑friendly copy quickly. Design: Ability to use tools like Figma or Canva for imagery and graphics. AI mindset: Use AI to work efficiently and accelerate content creation. Compensation and Benefits For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range is USD $169,000 per year – USD $188,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other type of compensation. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
