Summerset Marine Construction has been providing a full range of lakefront services to its customers in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1990. As the largest pier and lift dealer in Wisconsin, Summerset has grown over the years along with its customers' needs, able to provide the expertise and products necessary for the perfect waterfront solution. Servicing hundreds of clients from Madison to Milwaukee, Summerset Marine provides the highest level of expertise to design, install and support any pier and boat lift system, always on call for any service needs.
What You'll Do:
- Design with Impact: Create accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for various marine engineering projects, including piers, boat lifts, and other manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Partner closely with our Engineering & Sales teams to bring project visions to life. Understand design specifications and technical details while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Revise: Review, update, and refine existing drawings, making sure all changes are meticulously recorded.
- Quality: Conduct thorough reviews to guarantee precision and adherence to project guidelines. Make necessary corrections to uphold the highest standards of quality.
- Software: Utilize SolidWorks and other CAD software to create exceptional designs.
- Time Management: Stay ahead of the game by managing your time effectively and delivering on tight project timelines.
- Education: A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Mechanical Drafter in manufacturing or construction industries.
- CAD Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating precise technical drawings.
- Communication Pro: Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Adaptable: Able to keep up in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Problem Solver: A knack for finding innovative solutions to design challenges.
- Team Player: Ready to contribute positively and work well in a team-oriented environment.
