Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with 7+ years of experience to lead the development and customization of on-premises Power BI solutions. This role is not a data analyst position—you will be working alongside a dedicated data analyst and focusing exclusively on report building, dashboard development, and integration into enterprise web applications. Must Haves 7+ years of experience in Power BI development (with strong emphasis on on-premises environments).Deep understanding of Power BI Report Server, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.Experience with customizing Power BI visuals and embedding them into web platforms.Strong SQL skills and familiarity with enterprise data architectures.Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Experience mentoring or managing junior developers is a plus. Plusses Familiarity with DevOps practices for BI deployments.Experience in building scalable BI solutions for large user bases.Exposure to offshore team management or cross-functional collaboration. Day to Day Design, develop, and maintain on-prem Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Report Server.Customize and embed Power BI visuals into web applications, modules, and specific UI sections.Review and enhance 5+ existing reports, ensuring performance, usability, and visual consistency.Ensure seamless integration with backend systems and data sources (SQL Server, etc.).Maintain version control and deployment pipelines for Power BI artifacts.Potentially lead the build-out of an offshore Power BI development team within 6–9 months, including onboarding, mentoring, and technical oversight.
