What You’ll Do Lead with expertise: interpret architectural plans and specifications, develop construction documents, and guide teams through each phase of the project. Plan for success: Prepare conceptual estimates, scopes of work, proposals, and correspondence that set clear expectations and keep projects on track. Deliver with precision: Develop and manage critical path schedules, provide direction and project oversight for AOI personnel and subcontractors to meet milestones and achieve outstanding results. Build lasting relationships: Collaborate with clients, developers, architects, designers, subcontractors and trade partners; acting as a trusted advisor and advocate. Fully own the project: Deliver confidence and trust, by having a proactive approach, easing concerns, overcoming and eliminating issues, and keeping communication open with stakeholders. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in construction management, engineering, construction technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, with project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A proven record of delivering successful commercial construction projects. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust. A commitment to excellence, personal integrity, and a strong work ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Timberline, Procore, and/or related construction management software systems. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to operate a computer and other office equipment, and communicate effectively. The position occasionally requires walking, standing, bending, or reaching during job site visits. The employee must be able to safely navigate active construction sites, which may involve uneven terrain, ladders, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems. Periodic visits to construction sites are required, where the employee may be exposed to typical construction hazards including noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
