POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Provide legal support as needed by the General Counsel Draft, review, and revise contracts and advise on contracts and other transactional agreements that are often subject to quick turnaround times, which could include procurement and services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other business documents. Give accurate and timely counsel to the different internal business units and executives on a variety of legal topics. Conducting legal research on a wide range of topics Monitor applicable state and federal laws, decisional laws from other jurisdictions, and industry publications. Maintain the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct and support the company's goals. Clearly communicate policies and procedures to staff CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS All positive, and driven applicants are encouraged to apply. The Ideal candidates for this position are highly motivated and dedicated and should possess the below qualities : Juris Doctorate and membership in at least one . State bar is required. At least 2 full years of experience practicing law, with some portion of that experience encompassing most of the areas of law stated herein. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines. Proficient legal research and drafting skills, and use of Westlaw and PACER Strong analytical skills / attention to detail. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint Clear, concise and practical communication skills (both oral and written) A solution-oriented and positive mindset that openly embraces change and stretches goals. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and high-pressure environment. Reliable, ethical, and trustworthy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit / stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
