Photographer – Boston Arts Club Rising Stars Program Performance (The Lion King KIDS) Location: The Calderwood Pavilion, 527 Tremont St, Boston, MA Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2025 Time Commitment: Approx. 3‑5 hours, 3:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Position Overview Boston Arts Club is seeking a volunteer photographer to professionally capture special moments throughout our Rising Stars performance day of The Lion King KIDS. This performance showcases students in 2nd‑5th grade who have spent the fall rehearsing, and we hope to create high‑quality archival photos to share with families and use in our program materials. Responsibilities Take photos of community members, students, and staff prior to, during, and after the performance. Photos can be taken in the foyer, theater, and backstage. After the performance, provide a complete file of all photos taken while on site (digital file). Share final files with Boston Arts Club via a mutually agreed‑upon method (cloud link, drive, etc.) within an agreed timeframe. Mutual Reciprocity Support a local arts nonprofit and help celebrate the achievements of young performers. Receive credit as Photographer on our materials and, if desired, a letter of reference. Permission to include appropriate photos in your portfolio (with BAC Human Resources approval). Complimentary ticket to the performance for a guest. Our Rising Stars program is free to all 2nd‑5th‑grade students, and we're grateful for your in‑kind support as we deliver the highest experience and education standards possible.
