Performing tasks that do not require the CNAcertification but expose you to the work-allowing you to earn a paycheck whileyou work towards your free CNA certification. We will help provide the necessary training, and once you areready for the exam, we will pay for up to 3 attempts. After you becomecertified, you will have the opportunity to work at one of our highly ratedfacilities and apply the skills you learned while working and training After 6months working in a North Shore Healthcare facility, you will receive a $500retention bonus. Additionally, if you choose to work at one of our facilities,you will be eligible to enroll in our comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities: CNA Trainee As a CNA trainee,you will assist with day-to-day activities in providing support to residents,nursing assistants, housekeeping, culinary, and activities staff in order toprovide high-quality careAssist thenursing team with serving meals, snacks, and fluids (not providing care)Ensurerooms are cleaned, organized, and sanitizedAssisthousekeeping and nursing staff with preparing rooms for new admissionsMakebeds- ensure resident call lights are easily accessibleStockresident rooms with wipes, clean washcloths, clean towels, gloves, etcAnswercall lights, serve residents, and report to qualified staff if necessaryMaytransport residents (to and from meals or activities) per community/stateregulationsPick updirty trays, glasses, and utensils from resident rooms and dining areasCompletedaily task sheet and return to unit manager CNA Providinggreat patient careAnswering patientcall lights and responding in a timely mannerProviding physicalsupport for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, includingbathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using thetoilet, walking, standing, or exercisingTurning andrepositioning bedridden patientsEnsuring residentsreceive an appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, food allergies,and preferencesMeasuring andrecording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output to report changesto nursing staffRecording vitalsigns, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate asrequested by staffExaminingresidents to detect care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urineNotingobservations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms, tonursesMeeting/responding tothe behavioral, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residentsRemaining up todate with CNA training and facility policy and procedure Wisconsin Caregiver Extras: Free CNAtraining and certification sponsored by WisCaregiver CareersAbilityto earn while you learn with the opportunity to work at one of our highly ratedfacilities$500retention bonus after 6 months as a certified CNA at our facility North Shore Healthcare Benefits: We offer a comprehensivebenefit package which includes: Healthinsurance for full-time employees starting the first of the month following 30days of employmentDentaland vision insurance for full and part-time staff401(K) Programfor full and part-time staff6 paidholidays plus one floating holiday for full-time staffCompanypaid life insurance for full-time staffVoluntarylife and disability insurance for full-time staffPaid TimeOff
