Urgent Care Imaging Tech

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Urgent Care Imaging Tech to fill an opening with a well-known Hospital in Coral Gables, FL.

Compensation: $24 - $31+ /hr (depending on experience and tenure)

Up to $15K Sign on Bonus (varies by department)

Shift: 8:30AM – 9PM

Daily Responsibilities for the Urgent Care Imaging Tech:
 
  • Conducts radiographic and CT examinations across all age groups in Urgent Care, Express Care, and outpatient settings, ensuring quality and adherence to radiation protection standards.
  • Integral team member optimizing patient flow and satisfaction through efficient workflow support and quick registration processes.
  • Actively participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including audits and documentation to uphold standards of care.
  • Supports regulatory compliance and safety protocols, including National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Precautions, and HIPAA policies.
  • Performs additional clinical tasks as needed within scope of practice, such as phlebotomy, EKG, and vital sign assessments, contributing to comprehensive patient care.


Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:
 
  • Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R)).
  • Graduate of an AMA Council on Education approved program for Radiologic Technologists.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
  • Preferred: 6 months of experience in acute care settings.
