Education: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

Licenses & Certifications

● Current Physical Therapist MS state license.

● American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS.

Duties Include:

● Evaluates patients and develops patient-specific physical therapy treatment programs. ● Monitors, reassesses and modifies treatment programs to meet patient needs in an ongoing manner. ● Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, students, etc.).

● Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff. ● Performs treatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development for each population group. ● Applies knowledge of population specific needs when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to psycho-social and developmental needs.
