Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Full Time / Competitive Pay / Flexible Schedule

MLR is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. In this position, you will deliver exceptional care to mothers in labor, fostering a secure and nurturing environment for both mother and child. Your knowledge and empathy will play a vital role in helping families through this significant and life-changing journey.

What You'll Do As a Registered Nurse:

Continuously monitor and evaluate patients throughout labor and delivery, including tracking vital signs and fetal heartbeats.
Offer direct support during labor, including administering medications, assisting with deliveries, and managing pain.
Educate patients and their families on the labor process, delivery options, and care following childbirth.
Work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and safe delivery experience.
Accurately document patient care and maintain comprehensive records of labor and delivery occurrences.
Act swiftly in emergencies or complications, following established protocols and guidelines.
Uphold a sterile and safe environment, adhering to infection control standards and hospital policies.

RN Qualifications:

Current RN license in New Mexico.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) is preferred.
