The Step-Down unit serves patients after kidney transplant and hepatobiliary surgeries along with the other patient populations who require closer monitoring as a bridge from ICU to the regular nursing unit. The unit offers care for patients requiring CPAP, BIPAP, and Optiflow oxygen therapy, glycemic control, and vasoactive medications. The general telemetry beds offer care of the patient requiring anti-arrhythmic medications, electrolyte replacement, and hemodynamic medication administration.
Medical/Oncology Acute Care Unit: 7 South is a 46-bed acute medical-oncology unit that provides care for adults 18 and older and geriatric patients with a variety of medical illnesses.
