This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage a diverse range of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction industry, showcasing a high level of competence and success in project management. This role will be a key player in our company, leading teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. Review and approve project plans and specifications, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are clearly understood and completed on schedule. Review work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure project stays on track. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements. Obtain necessary permits and licenses from appropriate authorities. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. Plan and oversee the implementation of design and construction processes. Conduct regular site inspections and work assessments. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and key team members to determine the specifications of the project. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management role within the construction industry. Proven experience overseeing large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment. Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills. Able to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and solve complex problems. Proficient in project management software. Strong understanding of construction laws and regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
