Our client is a well renowned medical center, and they need your help with coverage. This is an awesome opportunity in the Dynamic city of Sacramento. You will be working within a close-knit team of experienced EP technicians, nurses, cardiologists, and researchers who collaborate seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

As an EP Tech, you will provide technical and support services in diagnostic and interventional Electrophysiology (EP). You must be able to operate and maintain sophisticated electrophysiology equipment in providing quality patient care which results in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of congenital or acquired heart disease.

The EP Tech will be expected to perform patient care in a manner consistent with a safe and professional environment for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Shift: 7:30a to 6:00p - 4/10s - No Nights / No weekends - Days of the week working TBD

Requirements:
  • Must: have at least 3 years of experience working as an EP Tech.
  • MUST: Be a graduate of an accredited Electrophysiology Technology program We are offering exceptional compensation for this role.
  • MUST: have active and current ARRT, RCIS or RCES BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Department:
  • MUST: be proficient with cardiac simulator - electrocardiogram (ECG)
  • MUST: have strong knowledge base that includes experience in a Cardiovascular Lab setting, operation of Mac Lab, endocardial mapping equipment including but not limited to Bio sense Webster
  • MUST: have experience with assisting the physician in the scrub role for pacemaker and ICD implant procedures.
  • MUST / MUST: be able to Scrub in and Assist and Set UP.
  • MUST: have Pediatrics experience, PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Note: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Additional Duties include:

Pre/post procedure preparation, operation of EP monitors and computers, maintain inventory control, and assists in maintaining a safe work environment
