Description

A Wesco Commissary Deli associate is someone who desires to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment. Candidates should be able to perform a variety of tasks with minimal supervision, while maintaining high levels of food safety and efficiency. The primary responsibilities of a Wesco Commissary Deli associate are to produce a safe, high quality product, sanitation of the facility, and working with a diverse team of people to achieve company goals.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age
  • Ability to work well with others including a positive attitude and helpful demeanor
  • Neat, clean appearance and adherence to the Wesco Inc. Appearance Guideline
  • Physically capable of lifting 60 lbs and standing for extended periods of time in cold temperatures
  • High-school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Negative initial drug screen results and consent for future drug screens which will need to have a negative result as well
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Completion of the Orion Assessment
  • Completion of the hiring packet
  • Food service experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Adheres to Wesco's guidelines, principals, and non-negotiable
  • Performs in a manner that supports Q-PPAS
  • Works well with others to meet goals of productivity, team building, and customer satisfaction
  • Works well with minimum supervision
  • Completion of orientation and Basic Food Safety Classes within 90 days of hire
