Responsibilities Use ultrasound technology to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data. Aid physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries and ensure the highest standard of patient care during all procedures. Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment efficiently. Accurately document and communicate findings to the medical team. Monitor and manage daily workflow, including patient communication, transportation, and discharge. Follow infection control standards and handle pharmaceutical waste according to training. Participate in data collection and performance‑improvement projects. Perform quality assurance on imaging equipment and report any issues promptly. Perform ultrasound imaging exams on patients of all age groups, ensuring high‑quality results. Operate specific imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Educate and train new technologists and students on imaging procedures and equipment use. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent (Required). One year of work experience (Required). Completion of an approved medical sonography program (Required). Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – Preferred.
