Patient ratios are typically 1:3 or 1:4. The unit utilizes various equipment including Bipap, Trach vents, and EMR systems. Candidates should be familiar with medications such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and 3% Saline. Typical procedures performed on the unit include chest tube insertion. The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility and maintain a positive attitude. Weekend shifts are required. Candidates with ACLS and BLS certifications are preferred.
