About the Role

As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting in the daily routines of the ultrasound department, and collaborating with RNs and physicians to perform interventional procedures. You will also be responsible for coordinating and evaluating the daily schedule to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited US program and registered with ARDMS or registry eligible
  • Current BLS certification
  • Fluency in scanning all aspects of ultrasound, including OB/GYN, breast, venous, arterial, abdomen, pelvis, soft tissue, TV, and interventional procedures
  • Ability to work holidays per hospital schedule
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of US experience in a variety of US exams (OB, venous, arterial, abdomen, breast, interventional procedures)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a variety of US exams

Physical Requirements

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
