Job Summary:
The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring the safe development, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic care provided to our clients. This role includes guiding and coordinating care with all members of the client's care team, including therapists, psychiatrists, adjunctive therapists, contractors, medical care providers, and direct care staff. The Clinical Director ensures that the program and staff align with Anew's core values and principles. The position involves managing and assuring the quality of the facility's scope of services, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating clinical staff. Additionally, the Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in developing, overseeing and integrating a Quality Program that gathers empirically supported data and outcome-based information to inform the goals of the Clinical Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Administration
- Embody and foster a culture of inclusiveness and belonging, aligned with Anew's core values.
- Oversee daily operations and all services provided at the outpatient treatment center ("Campus").
- Serve as the designated Administrator for Anew's Campus and Residential Behavioral Health Facility (AZ LIC RBHF & Outpatient facility).
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with AZ Administrative Code licensing requirements.
- Provide Clinical Supervision to all Clinical Staff and in accordance with regulatory standards and empirically supported training methods
- Speak at various Anew functions, including providing representation for Anew's clinical program at various clinical and marketing events.
Staff Management and Development
- Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise clinical staff.
- Provide coaching and professional development to all staff, focusing on core competency levels and the integration of services.
- Develop and Conduct reoccurring, regular trainings in accordance with organizational need and AZ LIC requirements
Clinical Program Development
- Develop, implement, and maintain program curriculum using evidence-based treatment and best practices.
- Oversee the effective development and application of client treatment plans for the full conium of care
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to ensure the alignment of clinical services with the company's goals.
- Oversee program monitoring and evaluation efforts, including chart auditing.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Support the development, integration and application of a Quality Program that utilizes empirically supported data.
- Ensure compliance with state and county licensing regulations and monitor adherence to regulations.
- Act as the program liaison to all referral sources.
Direct Client Care
- Provide direct client care services and groups as necessary.
- Write clear and concise statements summarizing client's feelings, presentation, and response in clinically significant encounters.
- Model appropriate interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation, and boundaries.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed LMFT, LPC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD.
- At least (3) years as an AZ Board Certified Clinical Supervisor
- Five (5) years of clinical care experience in psychiatric/mental health treatment, preferably in a residential setting.
- Three (3) years in a clinical leadership position applicable to the Clinical Director role
- Current and active licensure, registration, or certification in good standing.
- Understanding of mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and milieu therapy.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to use various software programs.
- Valid driver's license in good standing and auto insurance.
- Successful completion of drug screen and comprehensive background check.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; frequently walk; occasionally stand.
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
