Job Description:


Fortress Power seeks a talented, experienced SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an SCADA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and Energy Management System (EMS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of SCADA with our energy storage systems, energy management systems, and the assets at the site.


Responsibilities:


· Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling energy storage systems.

· Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate the systems with energy management systems to optimize performance and efficiency.

· Work closely with the R&D team to conduct lab testing and assist in the certification process.

· Collaborate with the software team to integrate SCADA systems with our cloud solution, ensuring data accessibility and scalability.

· Develop and maintain our Energy Management System using Python and JavaScript.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

· Conduct regular system upgrades and updates to enhance functionality and security.

· Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on SCADA systems.

· Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in SCADA technology to drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience working with energy storage systems and energy management systems.

· In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems and protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, CANBUS, BACNet, etc).

· Hands-on experience with ignition by inductive automation system is desirable.

· Proficiency in Python and JavaScript programming languages

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
