From its inception, GWD has remained strongly committed to our original concepts of quality service coupled with delicious food.

Great Western Dining is hiring a Line Server/Utility Position. The Line Server is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.

9am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday

General Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they approach the serving line

- Assist customers in selecting menu items and answering any questions they may have

- Serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner

- Maintain a clean and organized serving area

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Wash dishes or pans by hand or dish machine.
  • Wash work tables, walls, refrigerators and equipment
  • Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
  • Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
  • May unload grocery deliveries or transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Clean equipment and facilities using specific chemicals ensuring safety & sanitary standards.
Physical Requirements:
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
