Job Summary BNY is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Product Manager – Client Onboarding to support the bank’s enterprise onboarding transformation initiatives. This individual will take ownership of product execution, project management, and process optimization efforts for the firm’s strategic onboarding platform. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate closely with technology, operations, UX, and vendor partners to enhance client experiences, improve onboarding workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires strong leadership in product management and client onboarding, with the ability to manage complex cross‑functional projects from ideation through delivery. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, data‑driven, and passionate about simplifying and improving onboarding journeys within a highly regulated financial environment. This is a hybrid role based in Lake Mary, FL, requiring four days onsite per week. Key Responsibilities Lead product management and execution for the client onboarding platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Own the product backlog and near‑term roadmap, ensuring it is prioritized, refined, and groomed in collaboration with stakeholders. Partner with Operations, Technology, UX Design, and Vendor teams to define product requirements, manage project timelines, and deliver high‑quality releases. Oversee end‑to‑end client onboarding workflows, including KYC, AML, and contract components, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, track team velocity, and identify process improvements to enhance delivery performance. Conduct business process modeling, gap analysis, and workflow optimization, driving automation and improving client outcomes. Support platform enhancements, testing, and issue resolution for onboarding systems. Analyze data to evaluate platform performance, identify pain points, and present insights to leadership using clear visual storytelling in PowerPoint and Tableau. Manage stakeholder communications, maintaining transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies. Foster strong vendor relationships, coordinating production support, enhancements, and new onboarding initiatives. Champion innovation in onboarding, exploring AI automation and user experience improvements that drive scalability and client satisfaction. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in product management or project management within financial services or a complex, regulated environment. Proven experience managing client onboarding initiatives, ideally involving KYC/AML and account opening workflows. Hands‑on experience with client onboarding platforms. Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills; able to drive accountability and deliver results. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, vendors, and cross‑functional teams. Proficiency in Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint for project tracking, data analysis, and executive storytelling. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in business process design, mapping, and optimization (e.g., BPM, E2E Process Discovery, Value Chain Mapping). Familiarity with AI automation, UX design principles, and application design for digital onboarding. Certifications in Project Management (PMP, Scrum) or Business Process Management are a plus. Experience working with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
