Summary Manager of Controls Engineering – responsible for planning and managing activities of the controls engineering group, executing technology development projects, and providing controls engineering support for design, manufacturing, field service, and CIP activities at Persimmon. Reports to the VP of Engineering and supervises a cross‑functional team of 3+ members. Responsibilities Coordinate, develop, and track schedules, plans, tasks, and priorities for the controls engineering group. Support engineering teams to follow effective processes and promote communication between multidisciplinary teams. Coordinate, track, proof, and finalize project documents with minimum supervision. Ensure the timely execution of controls tuning tasks and development projects while reporting to upper management. Skills Required Controls systems design Tuning of control systems Kinematic and dynamic analysis Robotic systems engineering Electromagnetic systems design Algorithms and programming Simulation Experience Required 5 years in controls engineering with demonstrated project and team leadership. Other Requirements Approximately less than 5% travel, including local, domestic and international locations. Work is sedentary in nature but may require standing, walking, grasping, and lifting/moving up to 30 pounds. Education Required M.S. with a focus on Controls or Robotics. Compensation The compensation range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000 per year, determined by relevant experience, skills, and other factors.
