Job Description
The Acquisition Engineer in the Customer Team is working closely with the CCE (Customer Chief Engineer) and the sales team on activities focused on innovation & advanced technical qualification for electrification products.
Responsibilities include:
  • Main interface to customer engineering contacts for Electrified Motion (EM) products & technologies
  • Define and initiate technical approval studies with the customer (based on customer strategy and in alignment with the CCE and BUs)
  • Support the Customer Strategic Alignment (CSA) with the BU-PRMs
  • Support CCE and GCT with CSM preparations
  • Lead specific pre-selling activities aligned with CCE and BUs
  • Lead the identification of business potentials with customer
  • Lead and Coordinate customer technical meetings
  • Support sample sales
  • Support acquisition activities, working with the acquisition manager, BU and the customer specific teams
  • Support verification of customer specification, involving the relevant departments and generating deviation list during quotation phase

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's / master's degree in science, Engineering or related field
  • 2 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in electrified powertrain and innovation management preferred
  • Experience working directly with OEM (GM, Ford, etc)
  • Knowledge of RB and GM/Ford development processes would be beneficial
  • Experience in acquisitions
