As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly experienced Managing Director specializing in M&A origination to join the team and lead efforts in building lasting client relationships.

As the Managing Director specializing in M&A Origination, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our investment banking platform. You will be responsible for sourcing and executing high-profile M&A transactions, developing strategic relationships with clients, and leading a talented team of professionals in delivering exceptional advisory services.


Key Responsibilities as an Investment Banking Managing Director

  • Lead origination efforts for M&A transactions, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, private equity firms, and other financial institutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the company’s market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee the preparation of pitch materials, financial models, and due diligence reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting M&A activity.


Essential Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in investment banking, with a strong focus on M&A origination.
  • Extensive network of industry contacts and relationships within the investment community.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, with a passion for mentorship and professional development.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
