Physician Assistant

MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to work at our 93-bed acute care facility, with more than 200 providers on active medical staff and broad subspecialty support. This position is a 40 hour per week position with flexibility on days/shifts.

Desired Experience and Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner training program with training in inpatient medicine.
• State of Maine license as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN-C) required.
• DEA Number is required.
• NCCPA or ANCC certification is required.
• BLS is required within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS is preferred within 6 months of hire.
• Training and professional background in inpatient care required. 2+ years of experience preferred.
